Residential Service’s

We provide residential services throughout the county of Longford. Our residential settings encompass a range of different accommodation settings from individual’s choosing to be supported to live in their own apartments, with others choosing to live in homes in the community with their peers.

Individuals are supported to live within their local communities and to become valued members of the community.

The support provided to individuals is based on an assessment of need which is person-centred taking account of each individuals dignity and rights. Individuals are supported to make choices in their day-to day lives and for the future. We provide opportunities for individuals to take part in meaningful activities in line with their will and preference.

The people we support are encouraged to access many different community based social activities, ensuring that they play an active role in their local community.

Where required, we provide 24-hour continual support, including evening staff, a ‘sleep in’ staff member and/or night duty staff. Services are adapted to meet the changing needs of individuals as they age, and we support age related conditions such as dementia.
