Activation 2

Activation 2 comprises of 5 satellite day service units based throughout Longford town. We endeavour to provide a high standard, individualised & person-centred day service adult day service.

We encourage and empower everyone attending to realise their goals and aspirations and offer the necessary supports to achieve this. The programmes offered within the unit are tailored to the wishes and the needs of each individual.

Within the unit we undertake a holistic approach when working with someone, we communicate with each person using their preferred methods and respect their opinions.
We promote community participation, encourage choice and active decision making, support skills teaching and advocate on their behalf should they require.
The unit caters for people with various abilities, ages, genders, cultures, and ethnic backgrounds and delivers a service to meet their requirements.
